Overview
The Komatsu D85EXi-18 / D85PXi-18 is a factory-equipped crawler dozer with integrated 3D GNSS Machine Control and IMU+ for precise blade positioning. Factory-fitted components include a cab-top GNSS antenna, enhanced inertial measuring unit (IMU+), and stroke-sensing hydraulic cylinders that eliminate blade-mounted antennas and daily installation tasks.

Automated dozing
The integrated GNSS Machine Control and stroke-sensing hydraulics support automated dozing from rough cut to finish grade, enabling accurate grading, consistent results and reduced operator workload.

Performance & transmission
The D85i-18 is powered by a Komatsu EU Stage V engine delivering 199 kW (267 HP). A highly efficient electronic transmission with ECMV automatically matches gear selection to dozing conditions and includes a travel speed preset to optimise cycle times and reduce operator fatigue.

Cabin comfort
The hexagonal cab design provides panoramic visibility through large tinted glass windows. The high-capacity automatic climate control pressurises the cab to limit dust ingress. A factory-installed touchscreen control box for intelligent Machine Control is mounted high for visibility with an adjustable viewing angle.

Safety
Redesigned ROPS/FOPS integrated cab and optimised operator seating improve left/right blade visibility. The specially shaped fuel tank enhances rear and ripper-point visibility to increase safety and ripping efficiency.

Environment & emissions
Equipped with a Komatsu EU Stage V engine, the machine offers dependable performance with ultra-low emissions to help reduce environmental impact and operating costs.

Maintenance & diagnostics
A multifunction self-diagnostic monitor displays operating hours, engine speed, fuel level and coolant temperature in real time and provides maintenance reminders and alerts to technicians without external tools.
