Kometos thawing system offers a smooth and controlled thawing process which doesn’t break the structure of defrosted products. That way the losses in the weight of the products can be as low as 0-1%.
As a result of the Kometos thawing process, the final temperature of the defrosted products can be brought close to zero without opening the surface of the product, this way avoiding the draining. Result? High-quality product with the right texture, color, and temperature - consistently.
The capacity of Kometos thawing chambers varies depending on the size of the unit from 1800-3600 kg up to 20 000 kg per thawing process. The thawing units of Kometos are capacity-wise tailorable to customer's needs and the system is suitable for controlled thawing process of all frozen foods.
Kometos thawing chamber MTS-15 can be placed indoors or outside the premises. That way space is saved inside the plant.
