Description

When extremely low permeation rates are needed in combination with the high chemical resistance and purity of a fluoropolymer, an ETFE lined hose is a perfect fit. Offered with medium and 6000 psi high pressure reinforcement packages in long lengths, Kongsberg’s new flexible and light weight ETFE line is a great addition to our traditional post sintered PTFE hoses. - Applications: Medium- and high-pressure gas, foodor fluid applications where permeation, weight and chemical inertness are key. - Inner layer construction: Medium wall smoothbore virgin ETFEtube; ETFE according to ASTM DS-3159 type I, grade 1. - Outer Layer construction: 1 or 2 aramid braids, protection foil PTFEor PET , 1 or 2 high tensile 304 maypole wound stainless steel braid. - Temperature range: -60°C to +150°C (-76°F to +302°F). - Other: A blue Hytrel jacket is available, othercolors / jackets on request.
