Description

The positive displacement oval gear flow meter SR1 offers a wide flow range to accommodate most industrial applications where high oil flow rates are applicable. It is a dependable flow meter especially designed for lubrication oil flow measurement in demanding industrial environments. Kytola’s SR1 oil flow meters can be used as invidual flow meters in circulating oil lubrication systems or they can be delivered as part of Kytola’s complete oil lubrication system that includes both oval gear flow meters, measuring stations and monitoring software. The SR1 is a positive displacement oval gear flow meter that covers a wide flow range. It’s especially designed for lubrication oil flow measurement in tough industrial environments. The oil flow meter is designed and built to withstand time without compromising measuring reliability. Kytola’s oval gear flow meters always show the correct flow rate regardless of temperature or viscosity changes. They are an excellent choice for applications that require high resistance to external impact combined with low loss of pressure. The Kytola SR1 oval gear flow meters have a durable aluminium body and a robust transparent polyamid cover which enables excellent visibility of the oil flow on the run. The precise and highly accurate measuring is based on two toothed oval-shaped gears that are rotated by the flow. Each oval gear rotation generates two pulses and each rotation measures a constant volume of oil. A coil sensor or an inductive proximity sensor picks up the rotation. The pulse signal can be transferred to indicators, counters, or automation systems. Kytola Instruments has been in the business since 1945.
