The CTS2-A2R astronomical time switch combines compact size with ease of use:
- Electrical:
Power supply from 12 to 240V depending on the model.
4-year power reserve in case of power failure.
CTS2-A1x model (1 channel): 1 changeover contact 16A/250V.
CTS2-A2x model (2 channels): 2 changeover contacts 16A/250V.
- Programming:
The CTS2-Ax clock is programmed according to weekly cycles. The astronomical function automatically shifts the programs according to the variations in sunrise and sunset times.
- Physical:
The CTS2-Ax astronomical timer is equipped with an LCD display. Its modular 36 mm wide housing clips onto the DIN rail of an electrical cabinet or distribution box.
Programming access is protected by a sealable cover.
- Astronomical programming:
This function allows devices or electrical circuits to be switched on during programmed time slots, indexed to sunrise and sunset times.
Often used for applications based on outdoor brightness, such as lighting, irrigation, or heating control.
- Integrated memory:
Programming and timekeeping continue for 4 years without power supply. The CTS-Ax astronomical clock is thus protected from long power outages.
- Astronomical function:
The automatic program shifting function according to the evolution of sunrise and sunset times allows significant energy savings for lighting or irrigation controls.
- Compliance:
CE, RoHs.
- Applicable standards:
Electromagnetic Compatibility 2014/30/EU & Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU: EN61000-3-2:2014, EN61000-3-3:2013, EN60730-2-7:2010:AC:2011, EN60730-1:1995/A18:2003;
