Overview
Lohmann's DuploCOLL® multifunctional adhesive tapes provide high-tech solutions for electrical and thermal management in the electronics sector. Products are engineered to address more than bonding: thermal transfer and barriers, electrical shielding and grounding, sealing, damping, vibration and shock absorption, light-blocking and component protection. Tapes are optimized for conversion into die-cuts to fit automated assembly processes.

Thermally Conductive — DuploCOLL® TC
DuploCOLL TC acrylic transfer tapes achieve thermal conductivity up to 2 W/mK for effective heat transfer between components. Silicone-, halogen- and solvent-free formulations enable immediate adhesion on irregular surfaces and excellent surface wetting. TC tapes can compensate component tolerances and provide sealing against dust and moisture. The range meets flame-retardant requirements per UL 94 and shows short-term heat resistance up to approx. 180°C. High electrical insulation with breakdown voltages up to 26 kV/mm. Available as rolls or customized die-cuts in standard thicknesses from 140 µm to 2 mm; multiple colors support optical detection in automated production.

Electrically Conductive — DuploCOLL EC
DuploCOLL EC products combine metallized fabric or foam carriers with electrically conductive acrylic adhesives on one or both sides; a 50 µm conductive transfer-tape variant complements the range. These solutions serve low-current interconnections, connections between conductive materials, EMI/RFI shielding and grounding, reducing the need for additional wiring. Fabric and foam versions are isotropically conductive in X, Y and Z axes and provide shielding performance from approx. 450 mHz up to 3.8 GHz (including 5G). Conductive foam tapes compress to compensate tolerances while maintaining consistent contact for reliable grounding. Available as rolls or customized die-cuts.

Electrically Insulating — DuploCOLL® IS
DuploCOLL IS comprises electrically insulating foam and filmic tapes that provide damping and sealing to protect sensitive components such as PCBs and flexible busbars. Laminates prevent dielectric breakdown and support safe battery and device operation. IS tapes offer robust temperature resistance and can act as heat barriers during production or in final assemblies. Available as rolls or individual die-cuts.

Antistatic — DuploCOLL® AS
DuploCOLL AS single-sided adhesive films protect TFT/LCD modules and optically bonded touch displays from dust, scratches and electrostatic discharge via antistatic film carriers and adhesives. They deliver good temperature and humidity resistance and allow clean removal after extended bonding periods, suitable for automotive interiors and display modules.
