OverviewDuploCOLL® multifunctional adhesive tapes provide thermal and electrical management plus secondary functions (sealing, damping, EMI/RFI shielding, light-blocking, vibration/shock absorption, protection and cushioning) for electronics and industrial assemblies. Products are designed for integration into automated manufacturing with availability as rolls or custom die-cuts.
Thermal and Electrical Management — ContextTrends such as miniaturization, higher power density and increased RF requirements (5G/IoT) raise thermal loads and interference risks. These drivers increase demand for tapes that not only join parts but actively manage heat flow and electrical behavior in applications including EV battery packs, power electronics and high-frequency modules.
Product Ranges- Thermally Conductive Range (DuploCOLL® TC)
- Electrically Conductive Range (DuploCOLL® EC)
- Electrically Insulating Range (DuploCOLL® IS)
- Antistatic Range (DuploCOLL® AS)
Thermally Conductive — DuploCOLL® TCDuploCOLL® TC acrylic transfer tapes deliver thermal conductivity up to 2 W/mK for efficient heat transfer between components. Silicone-, halogen- and solvent-free options are available. TC tapes provide immediate adhesion and excellent surface wetting on irregular substrates, compensate component tolerances and seal against dust and moisture. The portfolio meets UL 94 flame-retardant criteria. Short-term heat resistance up to 180°C and high dielectric strength (breakdown voltage up to 26 kV/mm). Supplied as rolls or custom die-cuts in standard thicknesses from 140 µm to 2 mm; color options support camera/optical detection in automated lines.
Electrically Conductive — DuploCOLL® ECDuploCOLL® EC tapes combine metallized fabric or foam carriers with electrically conductive acrylic adhesives (one- or two-sided); a 50 µm conductive transfer tape is also offered. EC solutions enable low-current interconnections, bonding of conductive materials, EMI shielding and grounding — in many cases replacing additional wiring. Fabric and foam variants are isotropically conductive (X/Y/Z) and provide effective shielding approximately from 450 mHz to 3.8 GHz (supporting 5G). Conductive foam variants are compressible for tolerance compensation and maintain constant contact for grounding; foam restoring force is engineered low to avoid pressure effects on sensitive parts (e.g. displays). Available as rolls or custom die-cuts.
Electrically Insulating — DuploCOLL® ISDuploCOLL® IS offers insulating foam and filmic tapes. Foam laminates combine damping and sealing to protect sensitive items such as printed circuits and flexible busbars over product lifetime. Isotropic insulating properties prevent dielectric breakdown and support safe battery/electronic operation. IS products show good temperature resistance and can act as heat barriers in final assemblies or during production. Available as rolls or individual die-cuts.
Antistatic — DuploCOLL® ASDuploCOLL® AS single-sided adhesive films use antistatic carriers and adhesives to protect TFT/LCD modules and optically bonded touch displays from dust, scratches and electrostatic discharge. They withstand temperature and humidity and allow clean removal after extended bonding periods, supporting reliable performance in automotive interiors and other electronics.
