Description
Constant linear 1/4λ retardance is realized across a broad wavelength range when linearly polarized light passes through this quarter-wave plate. The element is manufactured by laminating birefringent resin films between optical glass or quartz substrates, enabling good optical characteristics and the possibility to fabricate larger diameters (>30 mm). For applications limited to a specific wavelength range, the product can be optically customized.
