DescriptionMagnetic grids contain magnetic rods mounted in a stainless steel housing. They remove small quantities of micron-sized ferromagnetic particles and oxides from granulate and dry, free-falling powders in free-fall transport pipes. This design is not suitable for poorly flowing, sticky or fatty powders that may cause blockages.
ApplicationDesigned for inline protection and product purification in gravity-fed powder handling systems and pneumatic conveying where material flows freely by gravity.
CleaningManual cleaning: remove the complete magnetic unit from the product channel, then withdraw the magnetic bars from the tubes so the captured ferromagnetic particles and oxides detach and fall away.
