System Overview
Metalself Srl presents its range of 6-degree-of-freedom collaborative robots (Cobots). This product is designed to break down the barriers of industrial automation.
Thanks to a compact design and advanced safety features compliant with international standards (EN ISO 13849-1 PL d), our cobots can operate in shared workspaces with human personnel without the need for bulky perimeter fences. The intuitive control interface makes automation accessible to companies of all sizes.

Main Applications
The operating software includes pre-configured templates that make the Metalself range extremely versatile for a wide variety of industrial tasks:

Pick & Place and Machine Tending: Loading and unloading of machine tools (CNC), presses, and assembly lines.

Palletizing and Depalletizing: Rapid management routines for grids and layers of materials.

Assembly and Quality Control: Seamless integration with vision systems for optical inspections, screwdriving, and precision assembly.

Welding, Gluing, and Sealing: Precise trajectory control and direct interfacing with dispensers and welding machines via dedicated I/Os.

Surface Finishing: Consistent sanding, polishing, and deburring operations.

Programming and Intuitive Functions
Programming the robot is extremely simple. The software utilizes a zero-gravity manual "Drag-to-Teach" mode. The operator physically guides the robotic arm by hand to record trajectories, eliminating the time needed for complex programming.
The system features a graphical interface on a color touchscreen Teach Pendant. Connectivity includes full compatibility with industrial communication protocols for seamless integration with PLCs and factory systems.

Technical Specifications of the Range
The Metalself range offers five scalable models to adapt to any payload and reach requirement:
