Description

The stand-alone solution without hot runner manifold The EH 4050 permits central gating of the moulded part in the mould with valve gate in direct extension to the machine nozzle. Thanks to the integrated valve gate, the EH 4050 achieves the best visible results on the moulded part. The pin actuation is carried out by an annular piston and transverse bar so there are no lateral forces on the pin. The gate diameter can be made relatively large compared to a ring gate. At the end of the injection process, it is mechanically closed cleanly by the pin. For a perfect pin impression on the injection moulded part, the pin position can be precisely readjusted with the nozzle installed. The compact, ready-to-install unit spares you complex milling procedures as well as time-consuming installation. The EH 4050 has been designed so that the cooled actuating mechanism is located outside the mould, reducing the mould mounting height to a minimum. The hardened retainer plate of the unit also serves to centre the mould in the machine plate. The supply of the operating medium, air or oil, and the supply of cooling water is carried out as standard via holes in the clamping plate. Optionally, these media can also be supplied via connections for which corresponding threads are already provided in the retainer plate. Gate types and nozzle lengths can be freely selected based on the smartFILL nozzle range.
