Description

MIPEX-04 [CH₄] is an ultra-low power NDIR sensor designed for continuous methane monitoring in portable gas detectors, including gas clip devices and battery-powered wireless analyzers. Its energy-efficient design enables compact instruments to operate autonomously for over 2 years on a single battery. High-performance methane (CH₄) sensor for portable detectors, gas clip devices, and battery-powered wireless analyzers. MIPEX-04 [CH₄] provides accurate and energy-efficient methane detection in explosive environments, with ultra-low power consumption and smart NDIR technology. - Ultra-low power consumption – less than 35 µA average (~0.1 mW) - Optimized for IoT and portable detectors, including compact gas clips - Life time – over 10 years of operation - Enables gas analyzers to run on a single battery for over 2 years without recharging or maintenance. Features: - Ultra-low power consumption: Consumes less than 35 µA, enabling up to 2 years of battery-powered operation. - Integrated microcontroller: Delivers linearized, temperature-compensated digital output via UART interface. - Dual-wavelength LED technology: Minimizes interference from water vapor and contamination, ensuring accurate CH₄ readings. - Explosion-proof design: Intrinsically safe explosion protection level "ia". Certified for use in hazardous areas according to IEC/EN 60079-0, 60079-11 and UL913 / CSA standards.
