Description

These multi-axis tilt platforms provide tilt and rotation adjustments for aligning optical components. They are kinematic in design, with hardened and polished contact points and spring-preloaded adjustments to eliminate backlash. •Stable, kinematic design •tip/tilt, tilt/rotation and tip/tilt/rotation versions •Included SM-13 micrometers or AJS adjustment screws •Generous array of 1/4-20 or M6 mounting holes •Compatible with 423 & 433 stages Tip, Tilt and Rotation These multi-axis platforms provide tip, tilt and rotation adjustments for aligning optical components. Model 36 has an elevation tilt adjustment and a rotation adjustment that rotates the mounting platform about the kinematic pivot point — ideal for use as a pointer. Model 37 provides full, three-axis angular orientation freedom. When used with an XYZ stage, it provides six degrees of freedom for total positioning capability. Model 39 provides two axes of angular adjustments, allowing a mounted component to be oriented parallel to an arbitrary plane. Linear Stage Compatible These tilt stages are ideally suited for mounting linear translations stages like the 423 and 443 to provide assemblies with full alignment capability. On the left, the 443 linear stage is mounted atop the Model 39 which provides tip/tilt adjustment. On the right, Model 36 is mount to an xy stack of 423 linear stages.
