Overview The colorCONTROL ACS7000 is an inline spectral color measurement system that identifies colors via reflection spectra rather than by sole comparison to reference values. Its high measurement rate makes it suitable for on-the-fly inspection of colors and shades on production lines as well as for laboratory and industrial R&D. Multiple sensor variants (ACS1, ACS2, ACS3) cover a wide range of measurement geometries and object types.
Applications and capabilities Intended for high-accuracy inline color and contrast measurement in coating, finishing and liquid processes. The system is suitable for production monitoring and for laboratory and R&D environments where spectral identification and high repeatability are required. Sensor selection depends on measurement geometry, surface reflectivity and whether targets are self-luminous or translucent.
Standard sensor ACS1 The ACS1 standard sensor is designed for common measurement tasks. Transmitter and receiver are arranged at a 30°/0° geometry producing a working distance of 50 mm. An optional adapter allows tactile measurement applications.

Circular sensor ACS2 The ACS2 circular sensor is intended for structured, highly reflective and lustrous-metal surfaces. Twenty-four lighting optics are arranged circularly around the receiving optics to provide uniform illumination independent of the target’s angular position. Two ACS2 versions offer different measurement distances and spot sizes.

Transmission sensor ACS3 The ACS3 transmission sensor is used for self-luminous and transparent objects. For self-luminous targets only the receiver is required; for transparent targets both transmitter and receiver are used in transmission configuration. The ACS3 is designed for transmission and self-luminous applications and complements the ACS7000 sensor family.
