The colorSENSOR CFO is a controller family for precise color detection in industrial measurement tasks. The CFO series connects to CFS fiber‑optic sensors, provides high color accuracy, modern interfaces and an intuitive web‑based setup. Typical uses include color inspection of interior parts (e.g. headrests), packaging inspection and sorting by color of crown caps, closures or labels. The CFO series replaces the LT models.

colorSENSOR CFO100
The CFO100 is a universal True Color controller for relative color measurements in automated environments. It delivers accurate color recognition for dynamic processes with a measuring rate up to 10 kHz.

colorSENSOR CFO250
The CFO250 is a high‑performance controller for fast measured‑value output and precise color recognition. Internal evaluation and digital switching output operate up to 30 kHz. Unweighted raw data (Lab/XYZ/LCh) can be transmitted directly to PLC or machine systems via UDP, RS232 or USB using a simplified 3‑byte protocol at rates up to 500 Hz.
