K3 Calcium EP3 Grease K3 is a premium quality, water resistant grease for use in industrial and marine applications where the presence of water and humid atmospheres can effect lubricating performance and be detrimental to the protection of parts from corrosion. K3 is further enhanced with a special additive which provides additional protection and lubrication in areas where excessive levels of water are prevalent such as water pumping equipment. K3 is suitable for plain and anti-friction bearings. It is recommended for use in water pumps, rolling mills, mines, quarries and marine equipment where salt or fresh water spray or ingress is unavoidable. K3 as a CHUCK Grease provides exceptional lubricating properties and resistance to wash off by water based cutting fluids. As with all greases used for the first time, check compatibility with the grease applied previously and if necessary purge bearings prior to application. Likewise, as a general rule, take care not to over-lubricate and apply the quantity of grease recommended by the bearing manufacturer.
