Metal heat treatment furnace can use both horizontally and vertically. It is designed to perform heat treatment (hardening, tempering, etc.) of various solid metal samples on a laboratory scale. If the furnace used vertical, the solid sample is placed in the middle part of the furnace by means of a wire. After the heating, the solid sample which dropped as automatically down into the liquid placed under the furnace can be cooled suddenly. The required protective gas and vacuum atmosphere can be created inside of mullite, quartz, alumina tubes that are chosen according to usage temperatures. The process can be also continued without sample dropping at the desired conditions in the metal heat treatment furnace.
