Mixer Temperature Sensors Available for Sanitary Applications C10 Series The MCR Model has an exposed flush-mounted ribbon thermocouple on its conical sensing tip. The one-piece stainless steel thermocouple well is designed for internal type installation secured with lock washers and jam nut. Each unit is furnished with jam nuts, lock washers and three feet of fiberglass insulated lead wire. Suitable for use to 2,000 psi at temperatures to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The MDA Model has an exposed flush-mounted ribbon thermocouple on its sensing surface. The one- piece stainless steel thermocouple well is designed for external type installation using the stainless steel gland nut and three feet of fiberglass insulated extension leads. Suitable for use to 2,000 psi at temperatures to 400 degree Fahrenheit. The MCR-SS Model has a stainless steel diaphragm on its conical sensing tip. The stainless steel diaphragm encloses the ribbon thermocouple and thus this is a 1000/• sanitary and contamination-free design. The ribbon element is electrically grounded to the stainless steel diaphragm. (Electrically insulated models are available upon request.) Each unit is furnished with jam nut, lock washers, and three feet of teflon insulated extension leads. Suitable for use to 500 psi at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The MDA-SS Model has a stainless steel diaphragm on its conical sensing tip (similar to the MCR-SS above). This model is designed for external type of installations. A stainless steel gland nut and three feet of fiberglass insulated leads are supplied with each unit.
