OverviewThe BIPOWER series are two-platen clamp hybrid injection moulding machines available with clamping forces of 1300, 1500, 2000, 2700, 3500, 4200 and 7000 tonnes. They feature a reciprocating-screw injection unit with electric screw rotation and a modular, low-base design for improved accessibility and robot integration. Injection capacities range from 3,877 to 74,884 g PS for single injection-unit models, and 117,199 to 149,768 g PS for the 7000-tonne two-injection-unit model.

Smart Energy optionThe Smart Energy option integrates a variable-RPM electric motor with closed-loop inverter control parallel to the pump displacement. The controller optimises motor RPM and pump displacement to deliver required oil volume efficiently; during idle phases the motor can drop to low RPM (e.g. 600 RPM) for significant energy savings. Benefits include energy consumption comparable to all-electric technology depending on cycle, reduced noise, improved shot-weight precision and longer hydraulic component life.
