Organics and impurities are removed from the braided fiberglass sleeve by Heat Treatment. High quality E-glass fiber has been used to manufacture this Saturated Fiberglass Braided Sleeve. It features include high flexibility and resistance from alkalis and acids. It also does not get affected by bleaches. Enhanced handling characteristics is offered by the smooth glass fiber yarn which is treated and coated with acrylic saturant. It can expand and contract by as much as 25% of its normal size. The thermal performance of the sleeve is not affected even if the acrylic acid starts decomposing around 400 degree F.
