High bulk fiber construction gives excellent insulation properties, and the texturized, untreated construction allows this fiberglass sleeve to exhibit excellent dielectric strength and a low thermal conductivity. This high température and heat résistant Heavy wall braided glassfiber sleeve is a braided texturizedfiberglass (fibreglass/ glassfibre) sleeve, fabricated from high quality fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to températures of 1200°F / 648°C. Thickness around 2-3mm. It provides excellent protection for industrial wires, cables, hydraulic hoses, tube and pipes and also provides thermal insulation and personnel protection.
