OverviewAramid-Carbon Hybrid Braided Sleeving is a braided tubular composite reinforcement manufactured from carbon fiber and aramid (Kevlar®) fibers. The hybrid lay-up combines carbon's high stiffness and low weight with aramid's impact resistance and toughness. The sleeve's braided construction enables radial expansion for fitting over mandrels, tubes and irregular cores before resin impregnation or composite lay-up. After curing with compatible resin systems (epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester), the sleeve provides a high-strength, lightweight reinforcement layer for structural components in demanding industrial applications.

FAQ (selected)- Difference from pure carbon sleeve? — Hybrid combines carbon stiffness with aramid toughness to reduce brittleness and improve impact performance.
- Can the sleeve expand during installation? — Yes; braided construction permits radial expansion to fit over cores prior to resin application.
- Which resins are compatible? — Epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester and other common composite resins.
- Is it suitable for high-temperature use? — Thermal limits depend on the chosen resin system rather than the fibers themselves.
