Description

Description
Carbon fiber braided sleeve is manufactured from 3K, 6K and 12K fiber yarns using a specialized weaving process to create a biaxial braid with a 45° fibre orientation. Available also in Kevlar and glass fiber variants, these sleeves combine low weight with high stiffness, torsional stability and compressive strength. The sleeve diameter increases when the ends are pushed together and decreases when pulled; typical compression is about 20–25% and tension about 60–65% from the base diameter.
