Product Overview
The Custom Removable Filter Insulation Cover is engineered for industrial filter housings, strainers, filtration vessels and process piping components that require reliable thermal insulation with access for maintenance. It reduces heat loss, stabilizes surface temperature, protects personnel from hot surfaces and improves energy efficiency in steam, hot oil, chemical, food processing, marine, power generation and exhaust systems.
The removable, reusable design allows the cover to be opened, removed, inspected and reinstalled repeatedly during inspection, cleaning or filter element replacement without damaging the insulation. Each cover is custom made to match filter dimensions, body shape, nozzle position, flange layout, drain points, gauge locations, support brackets and operating temperature requirements.

Typical Construction
A removable filter insulation cover is typically built with an outer protective fabric, a high-temperature insulation core and an inner liner selected for the operating environment. The outer surface can be reinforced for abrasion, oil, moisture, chemical exposure or outdoor service.
Outer Layer: Fiberglass fabric; silicone-coated fiberglass; PTFE-coated fiberglass; aluminum foil-faced fiberglass; or stainless steel mesh reinforced fabric.
Insulation Core: Fiberglass insulation mat; silica needled mat; ceramic fiber insulation mat; or other high-temperature insulation materials.
Inner Layer: High-temperature fiberglass fabric; silica fabric; stainless steel mesh; or customized liner material.
Closure System: Hook-and-loop tape; stainless steel buckles; D-rings; straps; drawcords; snap fasteners; or wire lacing.
Customization: Cut-outs for flanges, gauges, drains, pipe branches, inspection ports, brackets and complex filter shapes.
