Product Overview
The PCS-9705S Bay Control Unit (BCU) is a general-purpose control, protection and automation device for substations, power plants and industrial applications. Its modular hardware design enables adaptation to customer requirements. Applicable to both conventional and digital substations, the PCS-9705S supports IEC 61850 Edition 1 and 2 and provides MMS/GOOSE/SV network interfaces. The process layer supports peer-to-peer and networking modes (single and dual network). The station layer exchanges MMS and GOOSE messages for interlocking and status signalling.
