Product overview
Power clamps GN 8620 hold and position parts (e.g. sheet metal panels) in automated welding processes or grip and secure parts in transfer and mounting mechanisms. Clamping force is generated pneumatically and transmitted via a knee-lever mechanism to the workpiece. The clamp provides a quick swivel movement for short cycle times and integrated pneumatic end-position damping for smooth operation.

Additional technical notes
Air connections are located on the front and back; unused ports are closed with supplied blanking plugs. Mounting requires use of all holes on the respective side for screws and dowel pins; for side mounting a parallel key can be used in the groove provided (alternative to dowel pins) together with elongated mounting holes on the application side.
