Pepperl+Fuchs presents the world's first ThinManager®-ready tablet solution. The Tab-IND® and Pad-Ex® series ship without a preinstalled operating system but include a ThinManager-enabled BIOS, allowing the firmware to be booted directly from ThinManager and enabling the tablets to act as centrally managed endpoints. The solution targets mobile workers in harsh industrial environments and in hazardous (explosive) areas.

ThinManager® – Core function
ThinManager® (Rockwell Automation) is a software platform for secure, scalable centralized management of applications, hardware and users. ThinManager provides thin-client management to increase productivity, improve visualization and enhance safety.
