The PerMix PVR series Vertical Ribbon Mixer has asimilar appearance with the PRB series Ribbon Blend-er, but stands vertically, same as our PNA series Coni-cal Screw Mixer. PVR Vertical Ribbon Mixers areefficient and versatile blending machines for batchmixing of free-flowing powders, granules and pellets.PerMix Vertical Ribbon Mixers are able to give perfectresult of mixing due to the design of an outer spiraltype mixing element with an inner screw, rotatingtogether in a conical shape trough, which provides amultidimensional movement of the materials, and acomplete discharge of all the mixed material withoutany residue. The Vertical Ribbon Mixers are alsofeatured with no contamination to the product, dueto the fact that the shaft sealing is above the workingarea, thus no contact with the product. The construction of PerMix PVR series Vertical Ribbon Mixeris very compact it consists of a cone vessel with the driveunit on the top and discharge valve at the bottom. In thecone vessel, there are a central tapered ribbon with verysmall clearance between its edge and the wall, andadditionally a screw mounted on the central shaft.The ribbon and the screw move the materials upward fromthe bottom to the top, where the materials then drop bygravity into the center. During this continuous operation,material particles and heat are exchanged quickly whichleads to a homogeneous product.Besides, the material particles are mixed with minimalmechanical and thermal stress, which makes this type ofmixer a good solution for fragile and heat sensitive product.
