PerMix PTS series Plow Mixer is one of our two types ofTurbulent Mixer, which are originally designed by our Israeliengineers. The Other one is P TP series Paddle Mixer. PTS Plow Mixer is so versatile that it can handle nearly alltypes of materials including dry powders, granular materi-als, short fibered substances, moist solids With liquids,pasty materials and highly viscous masses. The PerMix PTS series Plow Mixer can be used for numerousprocessing, including compounding, fine mixing, dispers-ing, suspending, emulsifying, deaerating, tempering, accel-erating chemical or physical reactions, granulating, break-ing down agglomerates, etc. lt is particularly suited for suchdifficult processes as mixing trace elements in proportionsof 1 in 100,000 to 1 in parts. PerMix P TS series Plow Mixer consists of a centrally mount-ed horizontal Shaft that rotates within a cylindrical contain-er, plough shaped mixing elements that are attached tothe centrally mounted shaft, special openings at the topfor feeding materials, flush fitting access doors in the frontof the mixer, a flush fitting discharge valve at the bottom ofthe mixer which is pneumatically or manually operated,and a complete drive unit. The mixing drum of a Plow Mixer is filled from 3096 to 70%capacity, allowing space for individual particles to bedispersed within the main area of the mixer. Theplough-shaped mixing elements create intense axial andradial movement causing the product to move throughoutthe mixing area.
