Product Overview
The Pertronic Audio Distribution Module 4-Way (ADM-4) provides multiple independently controlled and monitored 100 V rms audio lines (channels). It enables multiple spurs from a single 100 V audio line while preserving fault supervision and simplifying installation of public address and evacuation audio systems.

The system built with ADM-4 modules will continue operating even if some channels develop faults. If any channel becomes short-circuited, the shorted channel is isolated and the remaining channels continue to provide audio after a brief interruption (approximately 20 seconds). The module continuously monitors isolated channels and will automatically reconnect a channel once the fault is cleared.

The built-in supervision system continuously checks the 100 V output lines for open-circuit and short-circuit conditions, regardless of whether the system is broadcasting an evacuation message, background audio, or is idle.

Each channel may be permanently enabled using the local DIP switch or enabled/disabled via a remote Channel Select input.

The ADM-4 independently supervises output channels and signals a fault condition to the connected amplifier or evacuation generator. The module includes a Form C clean-contact fault relay for connection to monitoring equipment.
