Overview
The Audio Distribution Module (ADM-2-PMB125) provides two independently supervised 100 V rms audio lines. It enables two separate audio channels covering the same area or evacuation zone and maintains audio transmission on the unaffected channel if the other channel develops a fault. A shorted channel is disconnected after a brief delay and is continuously monitored for automatic reconnection when the fault clears. The module can be mounted remotely from the amplifier and is powered from an analogue addressable loop or a separate 24 V dc supply. Built-in supervision monitors the 100 V outputs for open-circuit and short-circuit faults and reports fault conditions to the amplifier or evacuation generator.
