Overview
CR crystalliser for polymer crystallisation prior to drying and downstream processing. Capacity range: 150 to 4,000 dm3.

Description
The CR is designed to exceed the material glass transition temperature and to deliver uniform crystallisation, improving the subsequent drying phase and flowability. Crystallising hoppers use high-efficiency planetary reductions to maintain low rotation speed of the vertical paddle shaft, minimising dust and friction. Paddle groups are connected by screw joints for simplified maintenance and single-paddle replacement. Process control is provided by a complete set of temperature probes and level sensors. Access to the interior is facilitated by a large hinged insulated door and, depending on size, a removable cone. The CR runs both flakes and granules.
