DescriptionThe CR is designed to exceed the material glass transition temperature and to deliver uniform crystallisation, improving the subsequent drying phase and flowability. Crystallising hoppers use high-efficiency planetary reductions to maintain low rotation speed of the vertical paddle shaft, minimising dust and friction. Paddle groups are connected by screw joints for simplified maintenance and single-paddle replacement. Process control is provided by a complete set of temperature probes and level sensors. Access to the interior is facilitated by a large hinged insulated door and, depending on size, a removable cone. The CR runs both flakes and granules.
