Multifunction Radio Modem with AT Commands
The RCQ5-XXX module is not just a low-power radio modem, but a complete platform integrating advanced features, making it ideal for automation, remote control, and industrial IoT applications.
Based on the Texas Instruments CC1312R chip, it offers a combination of high performance, low energy consumption, and robust channel management.
Key Features:
Low power consumptionApplications:
Smart metersWireless security systemsHome and building automation6LoWPAN systemsAutomatic Meter Reading (AMR)Low-power wireless systemsIntelligent energy management, essential for battery-powered devices or environments where operational continuity is critical.
ATWOR_DurationAllows you to configure the receiver’s wake-up frequency, choosing between intervals of 1000 ms, 500 ms, 250 ms, and 125 ms.
This architecture drastically reduces average consumption while maintaining the ability to receive data promptly. WOR is especially effective in wireless sensor systems, smart metering, and applications where battery life is critical.
Radio Modem with AT Commands (Transparent Transmission Protocol)The RF modem is very simple to use and provides a wireless RS232 link with an RF data rate of up to 200 kbps (2-GFSK modulation).
The module can also operate in Long Range Mode (LRM) with an RF data rate of 2.5 kbps.
The transceivers function as complete radio modems and simply require CMOS/TTL data at the transmit input; the corresponding transceiver outputs the same data. Preamble and CRC are automatically generated and added to the RF transmission.
Over-The-Air Commands (OTA Command)The module can manage 4 digital outputs and 4 digital inputs, both locally and remotely (OTA), by sending simple AT commands.
Alarm FunctionWhen a digital input changes state, a message is transmitted via UART to the remote device:
Alarm_0_1
Remote I/O FunctionalityRemote I/O functionality is a bidirectional transmission method used in the field of automatic controls.
When enabled, every time the digital input changes state on station A, the digital output of remote station B will simultaneously reflect these states and vice versa.
