Description

CH load cells, also known as Chameleon load cells, are designed for tension control applications, in particular for the detection of forces generated by material pulling. Typically positioned at the end of a cantilevered measuring roller or on a pulley, these cells are able to detect the resultant forces in winding, rewinding and intermediate processes, with high accuracy, taking into account the winding angles of the material. Due to the versatility of the design, CH load cells can be installed in various ways, easily adapting to the specific requirements of the application. The roller can be fixed without rod or with a through rod and bearings, offering a flexible solution for different mounting configurations. The cells are made with a double-lamina, ensuring high precision and the ability to withstand high loads. The cablegland can be axial or radial, depending on the required configuration. With a load range from 250 N to 1.000 N, CH cells are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications requiring precise web tension control. Integrated in a web tension control circuit, CH load cells detect the tension signal, which is amplified by an amplifier and sent to a tension controller. The regulator processes the signal and manages the brake to achieve optimal torque, improving process efficiency and reducing waste.
