DescriptionThe EAGLE 1021 drilling rig is a compact machine equipped with a high-quality hydraulic system composed exclusively of proportional control valves. Controls are available both via electric radio remote and manual overrides to ensure operability in case of radio system failure.
Applications and drilling capacityThe rig performs boreholes from 80 to 220 mm diameter for micropiles, soil anchors and various consolidation works.
- Compatible with pneumatic DTH (down-the-hole) hammers
- Compatible with waterjet hammers (Wassara)
- Compatible with cased drilling systems (Supermaxbit, Ultramaxbit, Superjaws)
- Compatible with rotary drilling tools (tricone bits, three-blade bits, etc.)
- Compatible with hydraulic DTH hammers for self-drilling rods (up to Ø 185 mm)
- Compatible with hydraulic rock hammers for tunnel works (radial anchors, rock bolting)
Safety and controlThe radio remote allows the operator to work at safe distances during drilling, loading/unloading and positioning on site. Manual controls are provided to guarantee operability in case of radio malfunction.
Design and maintenanceThe drilling carriage is designed to minimize component wear and to allow easy replacement of the side guides when required. The new boom kinematics, featuring base slew, mast slew and a telescopic zoom, provides a wide working envelope with precise and easy positioning.
