Rite-Hite Zoneworks BZH blast freezer curtains are insulated sliding curtain walls designed to seal blast freezer openings, rapidly bring foods to optimal temperatures, reduce energy loss and improve operational safety. They provide a durable, lower-maintenance alternative to heavy insulated panel doors and are engineered for single-person operation.

Design and construction
Freezer curtains are constructed from insulated, sliding panels nested in a tubular steel frame. Each panel is made of 18-ounce industrial-strength vinyl fabric surrounding a layer of anti-microbial polyester batting. Panels slide on a track-and-trolley system and the system can be configured in multiple layouts depending on application. Galvanized vertical control staffs with drop pins and floor sockets provide stability in windy/loading conditions, and a flexible bottom sweep seals against the floor to minimize energy loss and help maintain desired conditions.

Applications and operation
The BZH curtain wall is intended for blast freezer and industrial freezer environments, suitable for openings that can be very large (examples cited up to approximately 25' x 25'). The design avoids heavy motorized components that tend to freeze and require frequent maintenance; its light panels allow manual operation by a single person. Available design options include between-jambs installation, single-slide, or bi-parting configurations.
