The FBB-2DI1DO.R.xxx modules provide two digital inputs and one relay output. They are designed for decentralized switching tasks and are suitable for driving motorized fire dampers with end-switch feedback (OPEN/CLOSED) as well as for general decentralized data points (remote I/Os).

Runtime measurement for motorized fire dampers
Objects are available for applications with motorized fire dampers that store measured runtimes. Measurement is performed on each operation of the damper and records the total opening and closing durations and the dead time until the damper leaves its initial position. Measured times are compared against maximum values which must be written to the designated properties during system commissioning.

Variants and options
The FBB-4DI2DO.R.xxx and FBB-2DI1DO.R.xxx are available in several variants. Options include:

• Supply voltage (24V or 230V): On the FBB-xxx-R.230 variant the supply voltage is also used as the output signal for the relay outputs; L (230V) is switched via the relay contact to the digital output.
• "AMP" option: Module variants equipped with special connector sockets for pre-assembled cables as offered by various fire-damper manufacturers.
