Die splitter VDS series

Overview
The SANTSAI VDS Series Vertical Die & Mold Splitter is designed for the safe and efficient separation, inspection and maintenance of injection molds, die-casting molds and stamping dies. Available in 3, 6, 10 and 15-t capacities, the machine features a heavy-duty steel frame, large machined platens, a controlled hydraulic vertical lifting/lowering system and configurable platen sizes and opening heights for oversized molds.

How It Works

• The closed die or mold is positioned on the lower platen.
• The mold is aligned and securely clamped.
• The upper mold half is attached to the upper platen.
• The hydraulic system lifts the upper mold half vertically.
• The mold opens to the preset inspection height.
• Operators perform inspection, cleaning, repair or component replacement.
• The upper platen is lowered under controlled conditions.
• The upper and lower mold halves are aligned and closed safely.
