Horizontal die splitter HDS series

Product Overview
The SANTSAI HDS Series Horizontal Die & Mold Splitter is designed for safe mold opening, separation, tilting, inspection and functional testing. Four models cover molds from 4 to 25 tonnes. The HDS Series enables controlled horizontal separation of mold halves mounted on opposing platens; optional 0–90° platen tilting provides access to internal components. Integrated testing functions verify the mold hydraulic circuit, ejector system and cooling-water circuit before returning the mold to production.

How It Works

• Place the closed mold on the lower platen.
• Position and clamp the mold securely.
• Connect the upper mold half to the upper platen.
• The hydraulic system lifts the upper mold half vertically.
• The mold opens to the preset inspection height.
• Perform inspection, cleaning, repair or component replacement.
• Lower the upper platen under controlled conditions.
• Align and close the upper and lower mold halves safely.
