Overview
The Scarab M6 is a heavy-duty road sweeper designed for reliable, high-power cleaning on 15–18 tonne GVW truck chassis. Engineered for easy export and mounting, the M6 combines simple maintenance, robust construction and configurable options to meet municipal and contractor requirements worldwide.

Twin Drive Configuration
The M6 supports a twin-engine arrangement for operators who require separate auxiliary power while retaining advanced sweeper technology. Its hydraulic fluid-power layout and CANbus control reduce ownership complexity and enhance reliability for intensive use.

Distribution & export skid units
Skid-mounted export units are packaged for economical shipping and include all components needed to mount the sweeper onto a locally supplied 15–18 t chassis via the distributor network, enabling installation in remote locations.

Drive Configuration

  • HYDRAULIC SYSTEM: Scarab fluid-drive directly coupled to the auxiliary engine, eliminating belts for quieter, more efficient sweeping; hydraulic components are housed in a secure locker


Suction Performance
An 800 mm stainless-steel roof-mounted impeller creates an efficient airflow path for strong suction with reduced consumption. A hinged stainless-steel mesh particulate filter provides large surface area, swings down for cleaning and eases access to the inlet cone and fan chamber.

Sweeping Configuration
The M6 is available in single or optional dual sweep layouts. With suction nozzle, side brush and widesweep engaged the working width is 2505 mm; dual sweeping extends brush span to 3200 mm. Variable brush speeds, optional down-pressure and swivelling widesweep increase versatility.

Hopper
The hopper is fabricated from corrosion- and abrasion-resistant 4003 stainless steel, shot-blasted and coated with two-pack epoxy primer and durable topcoat. Side lockers provide additional storage. The hinged stainless-steel mesh filter swings down for cleaning and access to the inlet cone.

CANbus Control System
The CANbus control system offers intuitive operation via a colour monitor showing sweeping configuration, vehicle status, warnings and service reminders. Real-time monitoring and data-logging support troubleshooting and fleet maintenance.
