Copper Conductor PVC InsulationMoisture, Heat, Low-Temp, Flame, Sunlight Resistant Thermoplastic Insulated Wire and Cable APPLICATIONS THHWbuilding wire is intended for general purpose applications as defined by the USA National Electrical Code (NEC). THHW is permitted used in conduit and cable trays for services, feeders, and branch circuits in commercial or industrial new construction or rewiring for 600 volt applications. For applications requiring THHW, the wire is appropriate for use in dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90˚Cor wet locations at temperatures not to exceed 75˚C. STANDARDS Morn’s THHWcomplies with the following: •ASTMB3, B8 •UL 83 CONSTRUCTION Conductor •Solid soft-annealed uncoated copper (14-8 AWG) • Compact/compressed Stranded uncoated copper (6-2000 AWG or kcmil) Insulation •Color-coded Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), abrasion, moisture, heat, low-temp, flame, sun-light resistant
