Description

600Volt. Copper Conductor, PVC Insulation,Nylon Jacket, Heat, Low-Temp, Flame, Sunlight Resistant Flame Retardant Thermoplastic Insulated Wire and Cable APPLICATIONS THHN building wire is intended for general purpose applications as defined by the USA National Electrical Code (NEC). THHN is permitted used in conduit and cable trays for services, feeders, and branch circuits in commercial or industrial new construction or rewiring for 600 volt applications. For applications requiring THHN, the wire is appropriate for use in dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90˚C. The wire is designed to be installed without application of a pulling lubricant. STANDARDS Morn’s THHNcomplies with the following: •ASTMB3, B8 •UL 83 CONSTRUCTION Conductor •Solid soft-annealed uncoated copper (14-8 AWG) • Compact/compressed Stranded uncoated copper (6-1000 AWG or kcmil) Insulation •Color-coded Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), heat resistant, sunlight resistant, flame retardant Jacket •Tough, polyamide, Nylon
