Complex Structure
The camera shell has a complex part structure, and its injection mold design incorporates multiple surfaces, grooves, bosses, and holes. These features increase the complexity of mold manufacturing, necessitating precise machining techniques and a meticulously planned mold design to ensure the smooth production of plastic parts and to meet the product's functional and aesthetic standard.
This mold is designed with a single-cavity structure and adheres to the LKM mold base specification. The slider's parting line is maintained at less than 0.01 mm, and the hole positions, as well as the internal structural elements on the slider, are subject to strict assembly requirements.
Gate Type
This injection mold is designed with a pin-point gate, which allows for precise control over the flow direction and speed of the plastic melt. The pin-point gate is very small, reducing gate marks and improving the appearance quality of the plastic part. Material waste is minimized, and it is easy to remove and trim the gate afterward, which reduces the workload of secondary processing and saves costs.
Plastic Material Selection
Utilizing a high-performance PC/ABS blend with UV resistance and compliance to stringent V0 flame-retardant standards, the camera enclosure is designed to ensure durability and longevity, thereby extending the operational lifespan of the enclosure in outdoor environmental conditions.
