Overview
If the AP Holder and the STABLO-AP ionizer are used together, static electricity can be quickly removed from the entire test chamber, including the surfaces of glass containers, which helps decrease weighing time and improve reliability.

Application
Accessory for Analytical Balance AP series; designed to hold conical flasks and similar containers in a tilted position on the balance pan.

Problem (NG)
When a conical flask is placed directly flat on the pan, the flask bottom contacts the pan closely and removal of static charge is obstructed, causing unstable weight readings.

Explanation
Ions emitted from the ionizer cannot reach the bottom of a flask in full contact with the pan, so static charge at the bottom remains. As a result, Coulomb forces appear between the charged container and nearby metal parts or the windshield, affecting the measured weight.

Solution (OK)
The AP Holder tilts and holds the container so ions can reach the container bottom. This permits reliable removal of static electricity from the bottom, improving weighing stability and reducing weighing time when used with the STABLO-AP ionizer.
