Description

Overview
The DI-2010 is a direct sample injection interface for GC‑MS that injects samples directly into the ion source, bypassing the gas chromatograph. It is designed for rapid mass spectral measurement of synthetic compounds and material-related samples and integrates with standard GC‑MS configurations. When used with a Smart EI/CI ion source, EI and CI mass spectra can be collected easily.

Features
  • Direct injection into the ion source (bypasses GC) for fast mass spectral analysis.
  • Supports EI, CI and NCI ionization modes (with Smart EI/CI ion source).
  • Suitable for resins and material-related samples; maximum temperature 500 °C.
  • DI analysis can be performed without removing the GC column from the oven.
  • Compact design for simple integration into existing GC‑MS setups.

Applications
  • Analysis of resins, polymers, coatings and other material-related samples.
  • Rapid identification and mass spectral characterization of synthetic compounds and contaminants.

Compatibility
Compatible with GCMS-TQ Series and GCMS-QP2020/QP2010 Series; designed to integrate with common GC‑MS instrument configurations.
