The MXOPi-SL Platform Series consists of XY translating platforms with motorized drives, designed for use with most upright microscopes. These platforms allow users to move the platform itself, rather than the microscope, to locate new recording sites while maintaining ongoing recordings at the original patch site. The platforms are exclusively equipped with crossed roller stages, ensuring stiction-free repositioning and preventing sample jolting during adjustments. The robust construction maintains the focal plane of the microscope, minimizing disturbances during sensitive experiments. Support platforms are color-coded to match the top platform, ensuring correct pairing with their support locations. Each platform is machined from stress-free aluminum tooling plate, providing exceptionally flat surfaces.
