The BFC Series Fiber Chuck is designed for precise and secure holding of bare optical fibers ranging from 80 µm to 1 mm in diameter. Compatible with BFT series fiber translators, these chucks provide a flexible solution for handling fibers without causing damage. The precision diameter of the BFC fiber chucks ensures a smooth slip fit into fiber translators. The BFC250 and BFC300 models utilize a tapered jaw design for secure holding, with the BFC250 featuring a solid brass four-jaw mechanism and the BFC300 employing a Delrin® two-jaw design, both operated by twisting the knurled end cap.
