Overview
The Small Drum Insert INS01 is an economical accessory designed to increase the versatility of the STS Universal Drum Rotator. It enables safe handling of a range of smaller drums (originally for 25-litre drums) while maintaining hygienic stainless-steel contact surfaces suitable for regulated industries.

• Compatibility: fits drums with diameter <350 mm; originally designed for 25-litre drums but adaptable to many small containers.
• Quick fit system: two-pin securing mechanism allows mounting to an STS drum rotator in approximately 15–20 seconds for rapid swaps between machines.
• Material: manufactured in 304-grade stainless steel; parts vibratory polished to eliminate sharp edges and provide a hygienic finish.
• Universal integration: designed to work with the existing Universal Drum Band for safe lifting and rotation of small drums.
• Short-drum handling: suitable for short and very short drums (may require lifting from a pallet to provide clearance depending on machine).

Installation & usage notes

• Two-pin securing system for rapid mounting to an STS drum rotator (approx. 15–20 seconds).
• For very short drums, lift the drum off the pallet (not from the floor) to provide clearance for the band; centre the insert on the drum before lifting to ensure stable handling.
• Designed to be shared between machines when quick swaps are required for decanting small drums.
