OverviewThe SOMANET Circulo 7 is a circular servo drive with a 40 mm hollow shaft designed for fully integrated axes, particularly in collaborative robots (cobots). It can accommodate up to two integrated absolute encoders (20 bit) with a battery-based multi-turn auto-calibration. On-board functional safety includes STO and SBC via a 24 V I/O; Safe Fieldbus and Safe Motion (FSOE) options are available. Loop-through cable routing simplifies wiring for EtherCAT, logic voltage and safety signals.
