Guage 154 is characterized by its great robustness in braiding. It is designed for specific threads of hard materials that are more difficult to braid, such as raffia or metallic threads. Ratera provides various useful and necessary accessories for obtaining the desired final product. • Different take up systems at the braiding point, with or without braiding detection. • Single or tension-controlled stopping devices for core control. • Different take off systems, depending on the diameter of the braided product. • Different take up systems for the braided product, on reels of different sizes, in parallel or semi-parallel take ups. • Integration with caterpillars for horizontal braiding machines. Characteristics of the E154 spindle The E154 carrier is characterized by its robustness and ability to braid threads at high tension. The brake system with a shoe brake prevents plunger impact and improves its durability. There are versions for high-capacity synthetic or textile fibers, as well as an ultra-reinforced version for precision braiding of metallic threads: • Ø 85×220 mm, with a capacity of 1,071 cm³. • Ø 85×300 mm, with a capacity of 1,461 cm³. • Ø 85×330 with a capacity of 1,565 cm³. • Ø 67×170 mm, with a capacity of 495 cm³ (metallic version).
